APPLY TO THE ASIA-PACIFIC MAYORS ACADEMY
The Academy Fellowship is designed for newly-elected or appointed Mayors/Governors in the region. Fellows will be selected based on established criteria, including commitment to sustainable urban development priorities, opportunities to localize the Sustainable Development Goals and establish local climate actions. Fellowships will consider regional balance and gender. Applications from women mayors are strongly encouraged.
The selection committee will be composed of representatives of ESCAP, UN-Habitat and UCLG-ASPAC, the United Nations University-Institute for Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES).
